Kirk Schneider Featured in Article on Technology and Mental Health

University Professors Press author Kirk Schneider was recently featured in a New York Times Article on technology and mental health. Dr. Schneider is the president of the Existential-Humanistic Institute and widely recognized as the leading contemporary voice of existential-humanistic therapy. His most recent book, The Spirituality of Awe (Revised Edition), was published earlier this year by University Professors Press. In recent years, Dr. Schneider honed in on concerns about the impact of technology on persons. While recognizing the many valuable advancements with technology, Schneider has also warned that it is important to look at the broader implications of technology for the contemporary understanding of what it means to be human and our ethical engagement with the world.

The Spirituality of Awe is available in print and ebook formats. Dr. Schneider’s important book, The Polarized Mind: Why It’s Killing Us and What We Can Do About It, was also published through University Professors Press.  You can purchase The Spirituality of Awe and The Polarized Mind together for a discount with the Kirk J. Schneider Bundle.
