Why Publish with UPP?

University Professors Press (UPP)  is a small, mission-driven publishing company rooted in the humanistic psychology tradition, including existential and transpersonal psychology. Founded in 2012, our commitment from the outset was to publish high quality academic books priced for accessibility. Within 10-years of the publication of our first book, our books regularly compromise at least 10% of the top 100 books on Amazon’s categories of humanistic psychology and existential psychology. Our authors include leading humanistic psychologists, such as Kirk Schneider, Amedeo Giorgi, and Nathaniel Granger Jr.

UPP’s executive board is comprised of established academics and scholars in the humanistic tradition who are highly experienced in scholarly writing and editing. We know the dedication and hard work that it takes to write and develop a book. Although UPP is smaller than the major publishers, we have demonstrated a consistent record of publishing important, successful books that are making an impact on the field.
