New UPP Book Series – Humanistic Textbooks

The University Professors Press (UPP) is proud to announce the beginning of a new book series: Humanistic Textbooks. The new series will focus on the development of two types of textbooks:

  1. Supplemental Textbooks, primarily for undergraduate courses. These books will be short, 80-120 page books that can be used as supplementary textbooks for common undergraduate courses. The purpose of the textbooks would be to supplement these courses through highlighting the contributions of humanistic psychology to these topics.
  2. Primary Textbooks, primarily for graduate courses. These books will be longer books that integrate a humanistic perspective throughout and can serve as primary textbooks in graduate courses.

The series editors for the Humanistic Textbook Series are Louis Hoffman, PhD, Richard Bargdill, PhD, Lisa Vallejos, PhD, Nathaniel Granger, Jr., PsyD., and Robert McInerney, PhD.

UPP is beginning to recruit authors to develop these books. If you are interested in being considered for developing one of these textbooks, please contact our editors prior to submitting a proposal.
