I was a big fan of Stanley Krippner before we met because he had written one of the earliest and most profound reflections on creativity and altered states of consciousness as part of Houston and Masters seminal book on Psychedelic Art. Since meeting many years ago we have continued our friendship and he visits and give presentations at CoSM, Chapel of Sacred Mirrors the church co-founded by my wife Allyson and myself. When Stanley addresses an audience he is always uplifting and encouraging especially to the young and curious. Stanley is beloved by scientists, artists, spiritual seekers and all who hunger for deeper understanding of reality and our true nature. Allyson and I echo countless friends in sending psychic hugs and shouting out, “Stanley, we thank you, Stanley, we love you!”

This is a remarkable book on a remarkable man—one who never hesitated to ask the important questions of life and mind and never hesitated to give the most direct and honest answers—without regard for what the mainstream might think. His courage has been rewarded: his work is now standard fare, recognized as a celebrated part of the leading edge. This is a book to read and to ponder for many years to come.

Stanley Krippner refreshes our understanding of human potential in the same way John Lennon reinvents Rock and Roll. A Renaissance man who touched the lives of countless men and women, myself included. This book is a worthy celebration of one of the most courageous visionaries of our time.

Stanley Krippner is a living thesaurus of greatness —brilliant, creative, inspiring, courageous, selfless, generous. No one has done more to advance the field of parapsychology in our era than Dr. Krippner. He is a towering giant who has seen farther than most, and he remains one of our most effective global ambassadors for the science of consciousness.

I have had the huge honor of working with Stanley Krippner for 18 years. Stanley is not only well published (1,000 or more publications) and a paradigm-changing expert of international renown (plus beloved by over 8,000, a close associate recently said), but is an archetype of the hero who stands tall for truth and compassion and human betterment. We can all learn from Stan, both as a scholar and a person.

I suspect the reason I’ve never met anyone like Stanley is that there IS no one like Stanley. He’s not just the most fascinating, generous, lovely man I’ve ever known, he’s also a hell of a lot of fun to hang out with.

Stan’s entry to the field began when he arranged for my father JB Rhine to speak at the University of Wisconsin in 1953, and completely captivated JB with his talents and potential. But that was just a springboard… Stan’s subsequent contributions have extended over a remarkably broad range of parapsychological and psychological topics and taken him across many continents. I cannot think of anyone in parapsychology today who has devoted so many decades of his active professional life with such brilliance, steadiness and level of productivity as has Stanley Krippner.
